Mr. Mackie has more than 30 years of experience in the global car and truck market, seventeen of those years as a senior executive in the U.S. and Europe. Prior to joining NBB, Mr. Mackie led the Northeast region for GM’s vehicle sales and service organization, overseeing 1600 dealerships. He also served as General Manager of ACDelco’s $2 billion global operations, Managing Director of GM Poland, and Vice President of GM’s corporate development activities. He has more than two decades of M&A experience around the world, leading those activities for both Navistar and General Motors.
Mr. Mackie calls himself a “diehard gearhead” with a passion for motorsports of any kind. He spends most weekends on the road as a competitive drag racer and loves to spend time building and modifying cars and trucks.
Mr. Mackie holds a BSME degree from Kettering (General Motors Institute) and an MBA from the University of Chicago, where he graduated top in his class.
